Walter W. Healy is the Founder and Senior Pastor of The
Church of Grace and Peace in Toms River, NJ. He began the
church in 1985 continuing in his life labor to help Christians come
to the full knowledge of their place in the Kingdom of God. In
1986 he founded the Grace and Peace Institute of Biblical Studies. Since
then, a School of Ministry and a three year Counseling School has been
added to the various campuses used to “build the people who shape
the world”. This
includes a K-8 elementary school where children are trained in
classics and rooted in Christ.
Walter’s life theme has been to equip the saints for the work of
ministry. He is accomplishing this and working diligently to rid
the Body of Christ of “cosmetic Christians” – those
who add face value without true value to the cause of Christ.
In 2006 Walter became Chancellor of Wagner
Leadership Institute, Toms River. Currently he is serving on the Boards of the national organization,
Christian Action Coalition, and International Christian Wealth Builders
Foundation. In September, 2007 he founded Faith
Net USA,
an apostolic network of ministers, ministries, and churches. He
also serves on the Boards of The Church of Grace and Peace, Community
Compass, Faith Alliance, Firepower
Ministries International, End-Time
Ministries, The Hope Center, Melva Lea Ministries, and Pray,
NJ.
Walter serves as the New Jersey Coordinator for the International Day
of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, NJ director of Christians United
for Israel, Clergy Advisor to the NJ Family Policy Council and Trustee
of the Toms River Workforce Housing Community Land Trust.
Walter and his wife, Maureen, have seven grown children and 11 grandchildren,
all residing in or near Toms River, NJ.
